CAD Viewer — Privacy Policy

Effective: July 23, 2026

The short version

CAD Viewer doesn't collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data, ever. It requests no browser permissions at all. Everything happens locally in your browser, on your own device. There is no server for CAD Viewer to send anything to, because CAD Viewer doesn't run one.

What CAD Viewer does

CAD Viewer opens a DXF file you choose — either through the file picker or by dragging it into the browser tab — and renders it on screen using your device's own graphics processing. The file is read directly by your browser and never uploaded anywhere.

What CAD Viewer does not do

Files you open

The DXF file you open is read entirely in memory by your browser to render the drawing. It is not saved, cached, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere by CAD Viewer. Closing the tab discards it, exactly as if you'd viewed it in any other local application.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted here with a new effective date.
